Som avslut dansades julen in genom att kören tog med sig publiken ut i dans och sång vid konsertens avslut.
Tummen upp för ett härligt evenemang.
Hur spenderade du din lördag?
David Steindl-Rast askes the question “Want to be happy?” But to really get happiness you need to be thankful.
I’m thankful for most everything in my life. And I’m often asked how it is I’m happy most of the time. I guess this TED talk gave me the answer.
With that said. I do have my down days to. But I seem to find the small things in life that gives me gratefulness.
A kind word, someone smiling from across a window, music, and I do try to surround myself with those amazing people that share their joy with me.
To them I would love to say an extra thank you.
What makes you happy?
I’m in the middle of exam weeks for this semester. And am trying to find good stuff about digital design, wireframes, prototyping and so on. If You have something really intresting. Please write me a note.
Here is a link I wish I would have had last week. But will come back to again.
Have a great weekend.
This poem of Lord Byron has always had a special place in my heart. And so tonight I had it luring in my mind when I was drawing on my iPad. Hope you like the combined result.
Here’s is the poem and my drawing of it.
She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that’s best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes;
Thus mellowed to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.
One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impaired the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o’er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express,
How pure, how dear their dwelling-place.
And on that cheek, and o’er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!
Have a great Sunday and hope you get to spend it with loved ones.
Trying out Bamboo Paper after their latest update. And I’m hooked again on a app I was thinking of discarding since other drawing/writing apps had taken over all of my attention.
But after upgrading the app and playing around. I’m in love again. And it will stay on my iPad.
Here are some of the days fun doodling.
Hope you like and go check out the update.
